February 2010 will see the annual Chinese New Year holiday (Year of the Tiger) and consequential factory closures in China.
In order to anticipate potential PCB supply line issues we thought it would be prudent to advise you as early as possible of the expected closure dates.
Closure dates do vary but for the majority of our factory partners the last working day prior to the holiday is Wednesday February 10th returning to work on Monday February 22nd. In our experience most factories will take a week or so to return to full capacity after the closure.
In order to ensure continuity of supply I recommend orders requiring despatch ahead of Chinese New Year be placed in accordance with the chart below.

The closure has further impact by adding approximately 3 weeks to all lead times encompassing weeks, 6,7 and 8 of 2010.
